Learning Log 2

The don't know why very long Question: Has there been a time in your life when someone told you that something improbable would happen and it did? Did the fact that the event was "predicted" cause you to behave differently that you to behave differently that you would have otherwise and make it more more likely for the event to occur? Or did the event simply seem to occur without any assistance from you?

I was wondering if this literature lesson is "predicted" because it happened yesterday.
I had badminton tournament yesterday with Monfort so I skipped 4 periods of lesson. There is a form stating which schools would be challenging each other and i found out a pattern from it.

(MSS: Monfort, CHR: Christ Church, EVG: Evergreen, NVSS: North View, SMB: Sembawang)

MSS V CHR
EVG V NVSS
MSS V EVG
CHR V SMB
MSS V NVSS
EVG V SMB
MSS V SMB
CHR V NVSS
CHR V EVG
NVSS V SMB

The schools on the left would win the ones on the right would lose. When I found this out I wasn't surprised as I thought it made sense. Sure enough, Evergreen won North View and lost Monfort. The other victories also went according to the form. My team did badly as they knew the match was "predestined". I feel hopeless as all the hard trainings was wasted to this stupid form.
Hopeless...

Learning Log 1

CINQUAIN- What i have learnt
A cinquain is a poem with 5 lines.
1st line = A word: Title
2nd line = 2 words: Description
3rd line = 3 words: Verbs
4th line = 1 sentence
5th line = Synonym of title

I am supposed to write my reflections here, so i'll be frank.
I don't quite get the point of learning cinquains (which i think most classmates also think). By the way, the lessons are not bad and is quite interesting. We had group works and the lessons are lively.
Hopefully there can be more lessons like this to keep everyone up from their zombie mode.
